On May 15, 2024, the Chinese Embassy held a function with the theme of "Remain committed to the original aspiration of China-Vanuatu diplomatic relations and work together for a shared future". Ambassador Li Minggang invited Hon. Speaker of the Parliament Seoule Simeon and other members of the parliament to attend the function. Both sides had in depth exchanges of views on China-Vanuatu relations and practical cooperation.
