The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Vanuatu will implement online Chinese visa application form and appointment for visa application submission. With effect from May 10, 2021, visa applicants are requested to complete the visa application form online and make an appointment online for visa submission. Please read the following details:

1. The transition period is between May 10, 2021 and June 9, 2021. During the transition period, applicants can log on to the China Online Visa Application system(website: https://cova.mfa.gov.cn/) to fill out the application form and print it out, or use the paper-based China Visa Application Form (V.2013). Starting from June 10, applicants must complete their visa application form online. Visa applications made with the previous visa application form will no longer be accepted.

2. Applicants can submit their visa application documents in person or through an agent. Starting from June 10, applicants must log on to the Appointment for Visa Application Submission system (website: https://avas.mfa.gov.cn/) to make an appointment for submitting their application form.

3. Due to the severe situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, applicants are strongly recommended not to travel unless for essential purposes. In case of an urgent need for a Chinese visa, please contact the Chinese Embassy in advance.
