Chinese Embassy Delegation Led by Counsellor Lin Bin Visited Sanma Province and Luganville Municipality

From August 11 to 13, a Chinese Embassy delegation led by Counsellor and Deputy Chief of Mission Lin Bin visited Sanma Province and Luganville Municipality. During the visit, the delegation attended opening and closing ceremonies of the first-ever “China Camp” in Luganville, which was held in Santo East School. The delegation also had talks with the LMC leadership, school principals and business representatives of Sanma Province, the Chinese community and members of the Chinese resident medical team based in Northern Provincial Hospital. Lord Mayor Peter Patty of Luganville Municipality, Hon. Wesly Rasu, MP for Malo/Aore, and DG Russel Tamata of Ministry of Health joined the delegation in some of the events.

The delegation had in-depth discussions with the leaders of various sectors in Sanma Province and Luganville Municipality on enhancing practical cooperation and sub-national exchanges between China and Vanuatu.
