On 12 October, Ambassador Li Minggang met with Vanuatu President Nikenike Vurobaravu.



Ambassador Li conveyed President Xi Jinpings cordial greetings to President Vurobaravu and said that in recent years, under the joint guidance of the heads of state of the two countries, bilateral relations between China and Vanuatu have sustained in-depth development and practical cooperation in various fields has made steady progress. The upcoming 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in Beijing will draw a new blueprint for China's future development and provide new opportunities for global cooperation.Standing at a new historical starting point, China is ready to work with Vanuatu to continue to strengthen dialogue, exchanges and cooperation in various fields and promote the development of China-Vanuatu comprehensive strategic partnership.

President Vurobaravu asked Ambassador Li to convey his best wishes to President Xi Jinping and wished the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China a complete success. President Vurobaravu said that as a witness of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vanuatua and former Ambassador of Vanuatua to China, I have visited China many times and witnessed the epoch-making development achievements of the Chinese people led by the Communist Party of China.
