On 26 March, 2024 the Chinese Embassy in Vanuatu hosted a banquet to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of the establishment of the China-Vanuatu diplomatic relations. Ambassador Li Minggang invited Vanuatu President Vurobaravu, Prime Minister Charlot Salwai, former Vanuatu Prime Minister Joe Natuman, Madame Mary Lini and other guests for the banquet.
