On December 30, Chinese seismic experts led by Professor Dai Junwu from the China Earthquake Administration arrived at Port Vila. During their 8-day mission, they will conduct safety assessments of damaged buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure following the earthquake along with Vanuatu government, as well as provide scientific recommendations for the post-earthquake recovery and reconstruction efforts.
