On June 19, 2025, Madam Lin Ying, wife of the Chinese Ambassador to Vanuatu, led a delegation of female diplomats to Vila East School and donated educational supplies. Over 50 participants, including Principal Mrs. Dorina Lala Sam and representatives of staff and students, attended the event.

Madam Lin expressed that the donated items, including stationery, backpacks and portable voice amplifiers, would help improve teaching quality and spark students’ interest in learning. She encouraged the students to study hard and one day pursue studies in China, becoming cultural ambassadors and bridges of friendship between China and Vanuatu.

Mrs. Sam sincerely thanked the Embassy for the generous support. She added that the supplies would be promptly distributed so that both teachers and students could feel the warmth and kindness of the Chinese people.
