In order to further facilitate visa applications, from now until 31 December 2026, Chinese Embassy in Vanuatu will exempt fingerprint collection for all applicants applying for short-term visas with a stay of no more than 180 days.

Fingerprint collection will still be required, in accordance with relevant regulations, for applicants of visas such as D, J1, Q1, S1, X1, and Z, which require the holder to apply for a residence permit after entry into China.
