On September 7, 2026, Ambassador Li Minggang of the Chinese Embassy in Vanuatu attended the handover ceremony for the rotation of  China Medical Team to Vanuatu.

Counsellor Gu Zihua and Counsellor Chen Zongwei of the Chinese Embassy in Vanuatu, Liu Xiaojun, Deputy Director of Reform and Development Division of the Beijing Municipal Hospital Administration Center, Jiang Xieyuan, President of Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, Jiao Liqun, Vice President of Xuanwu Hospital, as well as all members of China medical teams attended the ceremony.
