On September 13, 2025, Madam Lin Ying, wife of the Chinese Ambassador to Vanuatu, led the Embassy Women's Group to take part in the International Food Festival organized by the International Women Group in Port Vila. The event featured booths from other diplomatic corps and foreign communities and attracted over 500 attendees. 

The Chinese Embassy’s booth, decorated with crafts and tasty food, was a highlight. Freshly made spring rolls, pumpkin cakes, and red bean buns were very popular and sold out quickly. Panda toys and Chinese knots were quickly bought up as well.

The Embassy’s participation in the charity sale showcased the charm of Chinese culinary culture and promoted the friendship between China and Vanuatu. After the fair, Madam Lin, on behalf of the Embassy, donated all the money raised to help protect the rights of local women and children.
